Atlanta, Georgia - June 21, 2007 –
FleetCor, the Global Fleet Card Company, announced today that it has acquired the
remaining 50% ownership interest of CCS Slovakia through its subsidiary CCS in the
Czech Republic. CCS Slovakia is the leading fuel card processor in the Slovak market.
FleetCor has obtained the remaining ownership interest from UTA a Germany-based fleet
card company, CCS's previous partner in the venture.
"Through CCS Slovakia we plan to create an even stronger presence in Slovakia as we see significant
business opportunities in this market,“ said Ron Clarke, FleetCor’s Chairman and CEO. “This transaction
builds on our recent European investments and is consistent with our continuing strategy to build a
global portfolio as the world’s leading fuel card company.”
This investment is the latest in FleetCor’s recent European business growth including acquisitions of KeyFuels
and The Fuel Card Company in the U.K. and CCS in the Czech Republic. FleetCor also recently named Andrew
Blazye, former Global General Manager for Shell’s fuel card and loyalty business, to be CEO of its European
operations.
