Ronald F. Clarke
President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors
Ronald F. Clarke has been our President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2000 and was appointed Chairman of our Board of Directors in March 2003. From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Clarke served as President and Chief Operating Officer of AHL Services, Inc, a staffing firm. From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Clarke served as chief marketing officer and later as a division president with Automatic Data Processing, Inc., a computer services company. From 1987 to 1990, Mr. Clarke was a principal with Booz Allen Hamilton, a global management-consulting firm. Earlier, Mr. Clarke was a marketing manager for General Electric Company, a diversified technology, media, and financial services corporation.
Andrew B. Balson
Director
Andrew Balson is a Managing Director at Bain Capital Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Bain Capital Partners, LLC in 1996, Mr. Balson was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked in the technology, telecommunications, financial services and consumer goods industries. Previously, Mr. Balson worked in the Merchant Banking Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. and in the leveraged buyout group at SBC Australia. In addition to sitting on the FLEETCOR Board of Directors Mr. Balson also serves on the Boards of OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC, and Domino's Pizza Inc. as well as a number of other private companies.
John R. Carroll
Director
John R. Carroll joined our Board of Directors in May 2002 and has served on numerous private company boards. Since 1998, Mr. Carroll has worked at Summit Partners, a growth equity firm, where he is a Managing Director.
Bruce R. Evans
Director
Bruce R. Evans joined our board of directors in May 2002. Since 1986, Mr. Evans has been with Summit Partners, a growth equity firm, and has served as a Managing Director there since 1991. Mr. Evans currently serves on the boards of several private companies. He has also been a director of a dozen public companies, including most recently, optionsXpress Holdings, Hittite Microwave Corporation and Unica Corporation.
Mark A. Johnson
Director
Mark A. Johnson joined our Board of Directors in March 2003. Since September 2008, Mr. Johnson has served as a Partner with TTVCapital , a venture capital firm. From February 2003 to January 2008, Mr. Johnson was Vice Chairman of CheckFree Corporation and served on the board of directors of CheckFree from 1982 to 2007.
Richard Macchia
Director
Richard Macchia joined our Board of Directors in July 2010. Mr. Macchia is a CPA and served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Administration for Internet Security Systems, Inc., an information security provider, from December 1997 through October 2005. Mr. Macchia has been retired since October 2006.
Glenn W. Marschel, Jr.
Director
Glenn W. Marschel, Jr. joined our Board of Directors in September 2002. Since August 2000, Mr. Marschel has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of NetNumber, Inc., a provider of standards based data and addressing and routing software technology to the communications industry.
Steven T. Stull
President, Advantage Capital Partners
Steven T. Stull founded Advantage Capital Partners in 1992. Advantage is a venture capital and small business finance firm that has raised more than $1.6 billion in institutional capital. Prior to founding Advantage Capital, Mr. Stull was an executive in the investment department at General American Life, now part of the Metropolitan Insurance Company.
Steven T. Stull holds a bachelor's degree in finance and economics and an M.B.A. from Washington University.
